I did this simple logo and website header recently for another husband & wife photography team. They knew they wanted something simple and clean, but beyond that they were pretty open. I ended up doing about a million sketches and having fun just trying a lot of different ideas. Here are some of the rejected ideas, you can see we used the bird idea in the website header:
