This and That

Coastal Grass
Tray
shoes-and-book
reading-material
A few things from the past weeks: grasses, from our stay at the coast last week. I also found the tray of my dreams for moving tea things from the kitchen to my room in just one trip. My mom bought the Portland Stairs book to try some walks while she was here. We did one in the Northeast part of the city, which was tons of fun! There are so many secret public staircases I never new about, some I pass in my car every day. Sadly I didn't take my camera along on the walk, so I'll have to do it again. Pictured next to the book are my new summer shoes. And lastly some reading material; I'm lucky enough to know someone who works in a great book store and is willing to trade art for books, it works out beautifully. I've already made my way though all of these except Oblomov, which I'm half way though.

I'm trying to get back to work today, it feels good but I can tell it's going to be hard getting into a routine again.

  6. These images are lovely. And I love when you find that perfect vintage thing you're looking for :) I have a pair of pumpkin colored heels and I love them. They go surprisingly well with a lot of colors, great to wear all year too!

  8. Love the shoes!!! Did you get them at that place on Hawthorne? I wandered through there and saw so many pretty "vintage-y" things in nice colors!

  9. your sandals look great next that book! they do make up a pair, colour and stairstepwise, isn't that too funny? probably not staircase material, those straps, but fetching to look at!
