Other Worlds

I'm really not into video games at all but I appreciate them when they're beautifully designed and I sat totally enthralled while my boyfriend played Superbrothers: Sward & Sworcery EP last night. It has a dream like mystical feel and gorgeous music. I especially like that you are guided around by a dog. It's a beautiful game!

Boyfriend also has LIMBO which I've been interested in watching over his shoulder for while as well. It's another gorgeous and eery looking game:

    WOW These look so beautifiul. Very interesting and thank you for sharing. I think one of the most beautiful games has to be 'Shadow of the Colossus' http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DazoTQaqJrs and 'ICO'

    One of the most artistically beautiful, and enchanting, and compelling, games I've experienced was "Braid", which was on Xbox360 and PC, I believe. Simple and wonderful.

    Sam and I played LIMBO all the way through together. It's very beautiful and one of the only modern video games I enjoyed. I highly recommend it!

    I love sword and sworcery, and yes the music is great. braid is also super!
