My hummingbird feeder has gone from being totally shunned to being the popular neighborhood feeder that has fierce battles fought over it. The secret is making the food myself instead of buying a mix, it's so much cheaper and they like it so much better! The feeder is right by my window where I work and they peer at me suspiciously while they eat. I had to sneak up to get this picture.
