Someone commissioned me to do some fairy themed children's party invitations a few years ago. Then they completely disappeared, so I feel okay sharing these initial sketches with you. It's funny how often people think of me when they want fairies drawn, I actually never draw fairies on my own! I wouldn't have minded continuing with this project though. I think some serious tea drinking and grudgingly celebrating fairy party invites would be great, but oh well!

ReplyDeleteThose size wings are some of the nicest things I've seen in days. And I love when fairies have antennas - these are so good! The vagrant commission-er really lost out.

ReplyDeleteOH they are lovely beyond words!! I do so hate when folks do things like that with commissions......it makes one feel quite taken advantage of. You should draw more, they are dandy, indeed!!!!! I love their dainty wings!!
