New Facebook Page

work-table
In my continuing (if slow) move away from Oh My Cavalier, as well as my determination to be a better business person,  I've started a new Facebook page under my own name. Please do give it a "like"!

I've been wanting to use my page more effectively as a way to interact with people who like my work, as well as promote things I'm working on, upcoming shows, sales in my shop etc. but the fact that my old page wasn't associated with my name was holding me back from wanting to use it too much. But no more!I hope to use it more like Twitter and Instagram as a way to share things in process, to ask questions, and get more immediate feedback. And also to post fun stuff like what I'm getting inspiration from and things I find interesting.

I feel like I'm trying to start over with the business side of my work in a lot of ways this year, to be more confident about promoting myself, and generally be more professional. Yay for fresh starts!

(In case you missed my previous post about it you can read about why I want to leave Oh My Cavalier behind in this post.)

  1. It looks great! I love having a business facebook page, it really does help foster a relationship with people who collect your art. Many times I've sold things right off of FB before I even had a chance to list it on etsy. Best of luck with your business revamp! Everything always looks gorgeous!~

  3. Social media can really do wonders! I just checked your fan page, and I loved everything on it! If you want to be successful online, make sure to make your fan page creative, unique, catchy, informative, and easy to navigate so your visitors and potential clients won’t bail out all of a sudden.

  4. Good day, Juliana! Your fan page looks wonderful. I don’t know, but your illustrations somewhat remind me of the store that sells handcrafted products near my place. Well, your works are distinctive and that lets your customers remember them. Anyhow, it was a nice decision that you used your own name as your FB page’s name. That’s one thing that you should do if you want people to recognize you and your works.

  5. Your Facebook page is pretty well optimized. I like that you integrated other social media sites in your page too. That’s the best way to get more likes. You’re now taking your business into the next level by having an FB page. ->Abigayle Soderstrom
