Hi Julie, I'm sorry for my english, I'm from Ukraine) Please help me, please tell me how you translate watercolor drawings in digital form? Love your illustrations!
I draw these bears http://mintsungirl.blogspot.com/2014/09/lovebearsseasons-change-calendar.html I'm interested in how to cut watercolor object and place it on a white background, thank you!!
Hello! To do that you'll need to be able to scan your pieces and you'll need to have Photoshop or some other image editing program (there are some free ones out there). Then if you just Google "how to remove backgrounds" you should find a ton of info and tutorials.
thanks for the reply!! I am working in Photoshop, I know ways to remove the background, but I'm wondering how to separate the background from the very fine details:)
Ah, in that case very carefully! Try the magnetic lasso, the magic wand (adjust it's tolerance to be less if you have light areas), and the eraser if all else fails. At least that's what I do, there might be better ways!
thank for the tip! magic wand for white background ideal!I wish you inspiration and success, Juli^)
