I wanted to share a little "home tour" since after a few years I'm pretty happy with the state of my home, or at least as much as I can be while renting. I feel a bit nervous sharing it, partly because I'm pretty private but also I'm concerned with things being "perfect". Well, I've recently made some improvements that I'm pretty happy with (bookcase!), and also I'm just going to accept that I rent & things are never going to be perfect! I do have it pretty good though, I'm a real homebody and I love my apartment. Even if there are some things I wish I could change this is where I'm happiest.


This is where I sit all day every day. That chair squeaks like you would not believe. I keep meaning to get a new one, but I'm so used to working in this one I can't quite bear to.

My major disclaimer with this post is that I am not a fan of this wall color, I'd much rather have white walls, but I'm not allowed to paint. It is what it is & I'm so used to it now I hardly notice it. Plus I have a working fire place so who am I to complain?







Love my tiny kitchen. It serves me just fine.  





I tape recipes I use a lot to the insides of my cupboards.





My storage solution. This is where I keep my printers & scanner, paperwork, all artwork and sketches, & things for my shop like postcards  etc.
