Back To Work etc.
You can spy my print of "Sky Pack" in this December issue of the Danish magazine BoligLiv. I think this is in a gift guide for children? It's a really nice magazine, I wish I could read it!
I've been back in Portland for a few days and I'm hard at work trying to get organized, working on commissions, and working for some shows I have coming up. One of my main goals for this year though is to not get stressed out over little things, to worry less, and to enjoy my work (which is something I totally forgot to do most of last year), while still being productive. My thought is the happier I am the more productive I'll be, these tiny daffodils are helping with that.

Julianne,
ReplyDeleteI read this from my office this morning and the reminder to "enjoy my work" really struck me. It's something I hadn't considered for a long time ("work" isn't just work. It's possible to bring joy into everythign we do) Thank you!
I wish you a wonderful year. And I truly love your work. :)
ReplyDeletecongratulations! it is a guide about buying children's gifts on the internet, and the photo is a bit small so i cannot read it perfectly, but from what i can see i think your caption says: "we love it when art for the nursery is so nice that adults will also want to have it up, and that is the case with this sky pack print" - i agree! :)
ReplyDeletecongratulations, looks great! I think I will take your advice..worry less and enjoy my work. x
ReplyDeleteThat's a very good goal for this year Julianna and your print is gorgeous! :)
