Monday Mornings

pancakes3
Because they are Aradan's days off Sunday & Monday have become my weekend days as well. This Monday I got up enough energy to make pancakes from scratch, and it turns out it's so easy, I'm never buying a mix again! Rather than syrup we used honey and blueberry-lemon-basil jam made by friends. I love leisurely weekend breakfasts.

  5. Looks utterly fantastic. I always cheat and use the boxed stuff but you might have inspired me to do otherwise.

  6. The prefab mixes taste like cardboard. The whole wheat ones are even worse: cardboard with brown drab swimming about. Yumm, 'healthy'.

I have ne-ver bought these myself. Had the unpleasant acquaintance at a friend's teaparty. Who serves stuff from a package on a teaparty?? Only homemade cookies and cake are allowed! :)
