Kitchen Goddess
This is "Kitchen Goddess", another piece from the Enormous Tiny Art Show. She looks a bit grim, but really she is more of a Kitchen Utensil Goddess" so how grim can she be? Kitchen utensils make me happier than just about anything else.

Also, it's September now, the start of my favorite Season! I'm looking forward to that lovely smell of crisp sunny Autum mornings, and staying cozy inside with a nice fire once the rain starts (I guess it already has). What are you looking forward to the most this Autumn?

Here are a few things I found this week that I wanted to share:
♥ These are some really fun, and beautiful, animated gifs
♥ Lovely (and a little silly) short film promotion for Lolita Lempicka perfume, starting Elle Fanning.
♥ Apparently the best chocolate chip cookies, according to Pinterest. I want to try 'em.
♥ Having seen some photos from this book about life in the English countryside I desperately want to get it so I can see the rest of them!
♥ You've probably already seen this vid making the rounds, so good.

  1. Aw, those gifs are so sweet. How I love to live in the English countryside someday. I definitely need to get my hands on that book! That video is the very reason I'm happy I don't have a smart phone...

  2. That video really hits the spot. I have opened and deleted two instagram accounts and my third is on the way out (I stopped posting a while ago) - I was spending less and less time 'in the moment', thinking far too much about making my life look more interesting and beautiful than it actually is (come on, everyone does it). Not that I don't love things the way they are, but social media definitely has a way of making you feel as though you are lacking in all kinds of ways.

    On a lighter note...hooray for autumn! :)

    1. Yeah I've definitely been guilty of trying to photograph every moment, because if you don't post it on instagram it didn't happen right? Most of the time lately I can't be bothered, it too stressful to live like that!

  3. The grey watercolor is so incredibly lovely. I can't wait for autumn--I live in Memphis, Tenn., so the summers are unbearable! I love that first day of cooler weather with a bite in the air. You can smell the air turning. I tend to do more knitting in the fall, and more baking. I like getting all cozy with caps and sweaters. It's a good time of year. :)
